- I gave up teaching high school English after the birth of my first son. Seventeen years later, I don't miss it! Life is plenty busy with church and school volunteer projects, a house to keep up and tracking our 5 boys--2 of which were recently adopted from Liberia-- in their crazy sports/music/school schedules.

Love the blog and can't believe Baby Jay is 11! I can remember like yesterday leaving high school to come and meet him at the hospital. I went to the wrong hospital first, but i eventually found you all :)
