- I gave up teaching high school English after the birth of my first son. Seventeen years later, I don't miss it! Life is plenty busy with church and school volunteer projects, a house to keep up and tracking our 5 boys--2 of which were recently adopted from Liberia-- in their crazy sports/music/school schedules.

Does no one make you an M&M cake? I admit to preferring a store bought cake so that is what I get each year. Of course, flowers are a lot less calories!
