Me to Ty as he got in the car after pre-K: "Wow. Looks like you did some painting at school today."
Ty: "Yep."
Me: "What'd you paint?"
Ty: "My shirt."

- I gave up teaching high school English after the birth of my first son. Seventeen years later, I don't miss it! Life is plenty busy with church and school volunteer projects, a house to keep up and tracking our 5 boys--2 of which were recently adopted from Liberia-- in their crazy sports/music/school schedules.
